Pimp Some Poe

Omni Art House is at it again! They're having a show in April called "Pimp My Poe" and surprise, surprise, I was really into it. SO, this is my first sketch for the 4"x6". I'm calling it "The Great Loss", or something like that. I wanted to create a window into his childhood that may have created the person he became. So, I imagined that he had a little raven friend that died. It's a simple idea, but hopefully interesting. Also, I love illustrating Edward Gorey-esque creepy children. Stay tuned for the progress!
